Ingredients
- ½ tbsp olive oil
- ½ cup onion, chopped
- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 16 romaine lettuce leaves, washed and thoroughly dried
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and heat the olive oil. Brown the ground turkey with the onions and garlic until fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the spices, tomato sauce, and chicken broth, and simmer until almost all the liquid has evaporated.
- Stack two lettuce leaves together and fill with about 3 tbsp of meat mixture. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings on the side.
