For the cake:
- 1- 15.25 oz box white cake mix
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 eggs
- ¼ cup water
- 1- 21 oz can apple pie filling
For the glaze:
- 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 1- 1 ½ tbsp whole milk
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray and preheat the oven to 350 F.
Whisk the white cake mix, ground cinnamon, sour cream, eggs, and water in a large bowl until well combined. Pour this batter into the greased baking dish.
Spoon the apple pie filling evenly over the batter (do not mix), and bake for 35 minutes or until golden on top and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let the cake cool down for 10-15 mins.
Make the glaze by combining the powdered sugar with milk until smooth, and drizzle it over the warm cake.
