Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan and preheat the oven to 350 F.
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar using a whisk, until light and fluffy. It is important the butter be at room temperature.
Whisk in the eggs until well combined.
Fold in the mashed bananas, vanilla extract, and chopped walnuts until combined.
Mix in the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and pinch of salt using a wooden spoon or rubber spatula just until combined. Do not overmix the batter.
Pour the batter in the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 mins or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for about 5 minutes, then unmold and transfer to a cooling rack to cool down completely.
