- 2 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- ½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tsp sesame seed oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tbsp cornstarch dissolved in ¼ cup cold water
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Sliced green onions for garnish
- Freshly cooked white rice for serving
Whisk together the beef broth, soy sauce, sesame seed oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and honey in the pot of the slow cooker.
Add the thinly sliced sirloin steak and toss to coat. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
Pour in the cornstarch and water slurry, and add the broccoli florets. Stir, cover, and cook for an additional 30 minutes until the broccoli is cooked and the sauce has thickened. Serve over freshly cooked rice with sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top.
