- 4 cod fillets
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ¼ tsp ground coriander
- ¼ tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp parsley flakes
- ½ tsp salt
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- Juice of one lime
Mix the chili powder, coriander, cumin, salt, pepper, and dried parsley flakes in a small bowl.
Season the fish fillets on both sides with the spice and herb mixture.
Melt one tbsp of butter over medium-high heat and brown the fish fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until its flesh looks opaque. Add the lime juice and remaining tbsp of butter, and swirl around until fully incorporated into the butter sauce. Serve hot.
