Equipment

  • Large cast iron or oven-safe skillet

  • 1 ½ cups sweet yellow onion, chopped
  • 4- 14 oz cans pork and beans
  • 3 tbsp dark brown sugar
  • ½ cup dark molasses
  • 3 tbsp prepared yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the bacon until crispy. Transfer to a plate lined with a paper towel but keep the drippings in the pan. Sautee the onions in the bacon fat until translucent, about 3 minutes.
