- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp parsley flakes
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp butter
- ¼ tsp salt
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tbsp parsley, freshly chopped
Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley flakes, salt, and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter. Add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side. Transfer to a plate and keep warm
Pour the chicken broth, ketchup, hot sauce, and chopped fresh parsley into the same skillet. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Add the shrimp back to the skillet and simmer for 1-2 more minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
