Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp parsley flakes
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp parsley, freshly chopped

Instructions

  • Season the shrimp with Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley flakes, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter. Add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side. Transfer to a plate and keep warm
  • Pour the chicken broth, ketchup, hot sauce, and chopped fresh parsley into the same skillet. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Add the shrimp back to the skillet and simmer for 1-2 more minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
