Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1-8 oz package cream cheese, softened
  • 1-8 oz jar salsa (mild, medium, or hot)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 F. Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no pink is left. Drain the excess fat and mix in the taco seasoning.
  • Layer the dip:
    - Spread the softened cream cheese on the bottom of a pie dish
    - Pour the salsa over the cream cheese
    - Spoon the meat over the salsa
    - Sprinkle the shredded cheddar over the meat
  • Cover the dip with foil and bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
