Ingredients

For the meatloaf:

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the glaze:

  • cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp deli mustard
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, using your hands, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Do not over mix.
  • Preheat the oven to 375 F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Free-form the meat into a loaf shape and place on the baking sheet.
  • Prepare the glaze: in a small bowl combine the ketchup, deli mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and paprika.
  • Brush the meatloaf with ⅓ of the glaze and bake for 60-75 mins or until the juices from the meat run clean and the meatloaf is no longer pink in the center. Baste the meatloaf twice more during the baking time.
